To start us off I am going to take a look at the recent comparison of our president Barack Obama and Adolf Hitler. Many have stated that Obama's recent speech to school children across our nation was Hitleresque. If anyone finds this comparison true, I implore you to research Obama's speech and those conducted by Hitler...in fact I have included the information below!
Maybe this all started from a letter that was written to one school in a Florida district, where the author quoted words from Adolf Hitler, "He alone who owns the youth, gains the future". If this is true do we not want our kids to follow a person who sends a message to study hard and give no excuses for failure. This same person encourages children to keep practicing and not believe that they can be sports stars overnight without having to pay attention in class, or even be to be respectful to teachers and mind their parents. Are these messages that are different from the one's that we as parents want our children to hear? Could speaking in front of children and delivering this message have a political agenda to propel the President back into office in 2012? Maybe, but what was George W. Bush's political agenda when he was reading to children in school on September 11, 2001? Was he in the classroom so that he would not get re-elected in the next election?

In my research of Adolf Hitler and his adoration for the energy found in the youth, I have found that in Hitler's plan, many of the youth in his brigades died before they were mature enough to live a quarter of their lives. Adolf Hitler's messages propelled these children to join military activities and engage in atrocities against their neighbors.
The similarities in Barack Obama's and Adolf Hitler's view on youth ends abruptly with the idea that our younger generations are our future. Although, they both share this perspective...many others do as well. The children are the future, and this statement has been shared by many individuals not just these two politicians. The differences between the way that these two view our children in the future are actually quite many. Barack Obama has delivered a message that the children need to be in control of their own future... Adolf Hitler delivered a message regarding his control of the future. Children ages 14 to 18 were even joining youth group movements that resorted to violence to make political statements and dominate superiority over other youth groups during the Nazi movement between 1930 and 1933.
Here is Obama's recent speech
